Pins needed for each pin: (rabbit or carrot)
1 #2 Brass or Silver large ones
11 #0 Brass or Silver smaller ones

Thread beads onto the 11 pins from top to bottom in order shown. Pinch top of pin together after closing it to prevent accidental opening. Pry open the circular bottom of the large pin so that you can thread the other pins onto the pin shaft and around the loops of the bottom circular part so that the pins will line up in order on the stationary part of the large pin. Pinch the bottom circular part together again after all the smaller pins are loaded on so that they will stay on the back side of that pin. Now you will be able to open and close the larger pin without any of the other smaller pins falling off!
