"Candles Make the Difference"
Fund-raising Program
Each year, schools and organizations select a product to be sold by their students or
members to raise funds for a special project. [HGP] has developed an innovative
Fund Raising program that is easy, fun to sell, and highly profitable!
Our fund-raiser features [HGP]'s Scented Candle Jars. They are 10 oz. each and
are designed to burn for approximately 50 hours or more.
Scented candles are one of the most popular gift items people buy for
themselves and for others on special occasions. Almost everyone enjoys the glow of
candlelight and the smell of the fragrance burning in their home. Candles are a consumable
product and a fund-raiser that you can do often as your financial need arises.
The students/members participating will be provided with the materials needed to make this
a successful fundraising event. The packet will include an order form/flyer for order
information, a letter to the parent explaining the fund-raiser and an envelope for
collecting money.
Your students/members would be responsible for selling the candles for $6.00 each plus tax
(unless tax exempt certificate is provided) and collecting the funds at the time the order
is placed. Your organization will receive $1.50 for every candle sold. When the minimum of
20 cases are sold, I will offer an extra bonus for your hard workers. You can decide
how to present the bonus with one of the following:
1. $50 gift certificate to the place of your choice for the top seller.
2. Split up the $50 in gift certificates for top 3 sellers. $25-$15-$10
3. Pizza party ($50 value) for the group selling the most candles.
As an added incentive, I will pay the shipping charges if the fund-raiser is completed by
November 30, 1998. Please call me as soon as possible to get your date reserved.
I want your organization's fund-raiser to be as successful and profitable as possible and
I know you do too! Please call me at < > if you have any questions. Thank you for your time and consideration of our popular Candle in a Jar
Fund-raiser.
