New Consultant Letter from CandleMommy on the
message board - This is a letter I drafted for my
new consultants. Since everyone is in a sponsoring mode right now,
this might help you put all your thoughts down in one place @ one
time. I've also found that the spouses really read this and
encourage the new consultant to comply.

Dear ____________,
Welcome to PL, and (unit name)! You have made a wise decision to
join such a progressive company and to represent a superior
product line. I am looking forward to sharing in your success.
To ensure your success, you will want to focus on the following:
Hold six shows in first 14 days, beginning (fill in the dates
for them) and ending (end date). Your Kit officially belongs to
you once your Starter Show and Contract has been received and
accepted by PL's Home Office.
Get off to a "Bright Start" in your first month and
earn FREE PRODUCT (refer to your Bright Start Brochure for
details). As an added incentive, just for the month of (if there
is an added incentive such as the extra $100 in retail product
that was offered last June, you can put that here, otherwise you
can leave this sentence out) PL is offering all new Consultants
whose Starter Show reaches the company by (date) an additional
$100 in Retail Product! (you could also use your own incentive if
you choose)
Become a "Qualified Consultant"
by selling $1,200 or
more in your first month of business. Steps 1 and 2 above will
make this a cinch.
To be a successful Consultant you will want to:
Call me every Sunday no later than 5:00 p.m. so I can report our
figures to our Unit Leader. Reporting is not a means of telling
you how to run your business. It is merely a means to keep our
Home Office informed of sales and upcoming shows so they can be
better prepared to serve us and our customers by having enough
inventory on hand.
Attend ALL Training Workshops. When you're not there we miss you
and you miss valuable information that could help you to grow your
business. Our next Unit Meeting/Workshop is scheduled for (date,
time, place).
Maintain a minimum of $500 in sales each month. This is required
by PL of all Consultants in order to remain active.
Bonus every month by having a minimum of $1,800 in personal
sales each month. This could mean the difference in being a 25%
Consultant or a 32% Consultant. For example, if you only do the
minimum of $500 in sales each month, you will earn $125 in profit.
However, if you bonus at $1,800, you'll earn $576 in profit! Which
would you prefer?
Casual dress is acceptable at all Unit Meetings unless otherwise
notified. Guests over the age of 18 are always welcome.
As your sponsor, I am here to support and encourage you in any way
I can. Feel free to call me if you have questions or concerns.
Congratulations! You just started your own business. Your future
is bright!
Happy Burning!
