[Best of Boards]  [BoB for Bunnies] [Tealited Tidbits]

This outline incorporates a game and very little props!

You will need:
4 cards, 1 each with a C,H,O,and P printed on them, double raffle tickets and a bag
(index cards are fine- make the letters big!)

Set up your kit
Give everyone a name tag as they arrive
Thank everyone for coming!
Introduce yourself
Explain game:

"Please take out your purses. When I call out my card, I want you to find items in your purse that begin with that letter. The first person to call out an item and show it to me gets a raffle ticket, then that item is dead, and we keep going until we exhaust the letter."

When you exhaust a letter, ask them what it might stand for?!? Here are some suggested responses...

C= [Manufacturer of our candles]!
brief history of the company, then [company].
brief review of special characteristics of our candles
pass out candle care cards
consultants!...are we having fun yet?
brief history of the company, then

H= Hostesses!
thank her for having you and guests to her home!
if you give her a gift, do it here
review hostess program
ask past hostess in room about their show, all the free stuff, where they put it in their house, favorite piece, etc

O= Opportunity!
they have 3 to take advantage of tonight!!!
1-shop from your seat, not from your feet
2-get yourself some pretty fantastic product free by hosting your own party, and help your hostess out at the same time!!!!
3-do what i did, and for NO INVESTMENT, start your own business. However, you'll have to be prepared to make lots of money, name your own hours, and be your own boss!!!! I don't know......can you handle it??

P= P= [company] Product!!!!
Romance time!!!!! show them how awesome the pieces are!!!
Brass...Crystal.....Hand blown.....different iron finishes!!!
review guarantees
Pass out catalogs
remind them if there are special purchases this month
don't forget to fill out the door prize slips!!!

Now wasn't that fun?
I bring a few small things to raffle off...nothing more than $1.50, with our candles in them, or make up "wax and relax"** bags, or t-lite and votive grab bags.

If it's a large group, I ask the hostess to assist me with the raffle tickets. Then when we're done, I ask if she thought it was hard, and if she thought she could do it for approx $100 a night?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Are there 6 friends in the room who would help her by having a show? Look at that!

It's a great way to combine a game, a demo and a sponsoring talk, and because you're holding the raffle tickets, they pay attention to you!!!!! Plus you can write all these notes on the back of the cards, so it will make it easier when you are first starting!!!
