7/31/99 I hope you all had as much fun as I did Friday Night at the Renaissance! I enjoyed meeting and talking with all of you and the drawings were a blast! Thank you to all the suppliers who donated items for the drawings - and congratulations to all the winners! I'm also pleased to say that we raised another $76.00 for the American Cancer Society that night! I wrapped it up and added a note explaining how we raised that money, and added it to the sock that came around in the morning session at the MCI Center to start off this year's fund drive! I had Karen take a picture of the money going into the sock, so as soon as I get that film developed I'll scan it in and post it here. Here are the winners of the drawings from the Friday Nite
Fling:
We also held a special raffle for a second Best of the Boards Bonanza Box at the end of the evening - for which we collected $76.00. That money was deposited into the socks that went through the MCI Center on Saturday morning to help start off the 1999-2000 American Cancer Society Fund Drive. We did take a picture of the money being placed in the sock, and will post it as soon as the film is developed. Just a drop in the bucket (or sock) since this year's goal is to raise $1,000,000! Another note --- since the names were written on the dollar bills to draw the winner for this box, we didn't remember to write down the name of the person who won the Bonanza Box...if it was you or if you remember who it was - please email me so I can include that information here on the page! Who is volunteering to help next year with the organization side of this event???? Obviously I need help LOL! Thank you to everyone who participated in the Fling and the Raffle! See you next year at Conference 2000! This page last updated May 15, 2005 |
