I wanted holiday invitations so bad but didn't earn them
so I started making up my own ones using all my old catalogs from last
year.
I have made many up myself! I SAVED all my holiday
catalogs from last year and cut out pictures and paste them on plain white
post cards. I have used the church and angels from last year.
On the cards with the angels I write " If you loved
these two last year, you'll love our new and finale one this year!
Come to the show and see all three pictured in the catalog!"
With the picture of the snowmen and snowballs I write
" Our snowmen had so much fun last year that they brought along a few
new friends this year! Come to the party and you'll see it's enough
to get SNUFFED up over!"
With the picture of the Village Carolers I write
"Joy to the world! The more the merrier, new carolers join our
old this year! It's enough good news to get us all singing, see you
at the party!"
I use the picture of the two jar candles from last year
and write "One wick was not enough with our wonderful Mulberry sent
last year, so come to the show and see the new Mulberry 3wick! These
two jar candles are not available this year, we have a new one that's even
better! Come see what it is."
I won't bore you to death with all the pictures and
sayings, I just wanted to give you a few ideas!
You can make up your own cards with pictures, stickers
and cutting off the flap on Christmas cards and turning them into
postcards! I went to the dollar store and found boxes of Holiday
cards for $1.00 . I cut them at the fold and use them as postcards!
Cheap and easy, yet it's more than just a plain card!
