Hello Bob members~
Where do I begin? We walked in and received very big
hugs. Ms. Cortez's eyes were very watery (spelling) to say the least. She
saw about 8 bags of groceries and a big box of presents. Along with a few
bags of presents.
The kids were all so excited that when we asked if they
wanted to open them now or wait until Christmas little Tay hesitated for a
moment to say NOW! So they did.

I wish that all of you could have seen Ms. Cortez when
she opened our card and saw the Food Lion gift cards and receipts for her
bills, she was in tears. She could not believe her eyes. She said thank
you, thank you, thank you. Looking at her I can tell you that she was
really overwhelmed by all of this. I don't think she knew what to think or
how to react. She did cry...but quickly dried her eyes to enjoy watching
her grandkids open there gifts and to open her own.
Everyone really liked all of the surprises that they
received. They were trying on their clothes and playing with the toys
faster than any kid I have seen. They even played with the bath bubbles .
The youngest girl, Dale, was playing with my daughter. They were playing
with the barbie that we gave her. When we were leaving, Jessalyn wanted to
bring the barbie home. Dale gave her a little one (not the new one of
course ) and said Merry Christmas. Tay enjoyed all of his goodies as well.
All the kids received toys, clothes, bath toys and candy.

When I told her that I still had more money coming in
and that there was more where that came from she gave me a big hug and
said thank you and that this was great. She said God was looking out for
her.
Cortez also wanted us to say thank you to everyone who
helped to make this possible! She said "I wish that they were all
here so that I could give them a hug." So consider yourself hugged!
As I type this to you I am in tears myself. If all of
you could have been there....I am so proud of all of you. I am proud to
have represented you. WE, the Bob family, as well as a few others,
relieved Ms. Cortez of a huge burden. This is what Christmas is supposed
to be like...about giving. We have managed to pay all but $13.93 of all
$670+ in her bills!!!! What an awesome team we are!
I would like to personally thank all of you for being
the Angels that you are. No matter what you did to help this family, you
all made it happen!
Thank you to ~D~ for suggesting that we all donate just
a $1 to get these bills paid. For with out all of you this would have not
been the success that it was.
Merry Christmas to you all! May this be a Christmas that
you always remember.
