7th Annual Friday Nite Fling Details
It's time
to raise our funds to cover the
cost of the meeting room - advance ticket orders for the door prize
drawings begins NOW! Keep reading for all the details!
The 2004 BoB Friday Nite Fling will be held at
America's Mart
Building 1 on Friday, July 30 from 7-ish to 10-ish. America's Mart is
centrally located in downtown Atlanta at
240 Peachtree Street. You
can walk to America's Mart from most of the downtown hotels, or you can
take the MARTA rail or bus. You can read more about MARTA at

You'll want to take the
MARTA rail to the Peachtree Center Station (N-1) exit which will take
you not only to America's Mart, but to other area businesses of
interest: There will be no food provided at Fling,
but there will be a cash bar for sodas and alcoholic beverages if you
wish to purchase drinks.

There will be approx. 15 "Sponsored" round tables with 10 chairs each - so we'll be able to gather in little groups and just relax. Those who attended last year can tell you that is such a nice change from prior years when there was no place to sit. More about the "Sponsored" Tables and ACS
As always our awesome BoB Business Links will be donating door prizes to be given away during the fling. We will be selling door prize tickets for you to purchase at the door and/or in advance. The sale from the tickets will cover the cost of renting the space for Fling. Admission to the Fling - as always in the past - will be free to all. Door Prize drawings however will be done in the "Chinese Raffle" manner: you may purchase tickets in advance or at the door, and you will then be able to choose which prizes you are interested in winning by placing your tickets in the corresponding containers. We will begin selling advance door prize tickets in June. Check the What's New Page here often for details as they unfold. Ticket prices will be:
At the door the night of the Fling - Door Prize tickets will be $1 each.
If you purchase your tickets by midnight CST - Friday, July 23, with a minimum donation of $15, you get DOUBLE TICKETS!
$15 = 30 tickets instead of 15,
$20 = 40 instead of 20, etc.

The Fling will be a casual gathering so wear comfortable clothes or dressy if you prefer. There will be no "roasts" or "skits" this year. It's just going to be a few hours of chatting with one another and of course chances to win some awesome prizes!
BONANZA BOX!:
In addition, there will be a special drawing for only those who
pre-order their raffle tickets in advance - it's Bonanza Box
time! You never know what items are going to be in the Bonanza Box and
this year will be even more suspense filled. Advance tickets purchased
will be distributed when you arrive at the Fling.
This year we're doing something new for the Bonanza Box. We're asking that everyone (who chooses) bring something to the Fling to add to the Bonanza Box. One lucky winner will walk away with the entire box! Those who purchase advance door prize tickets will automatically be entered in this special drawing. Bring whatever you want - it does not have to be anything in particular. Last years winner received lots of goodies including software, PL Logo items, printing supplies and much, much more. This year, we have also formed Fling Committees to help handle all the details of the Friday Nite Fling. Our Committee Chairpersons are:

Colette - in charge of the ACS Tables and sales at Fling.
Steve - in charge of room decorations and layout.
Each of these chairpersons are in the process of gathering team members to help with their committee tasks.
