What I
have to share has to do with obtaining multiple bookings. It appears something
visual helps!!
But I can't take complete credit for this, I attended a friend's home party with a
basket company. The rep at this show utilized this visual booking aide. I sort of
adapted it to fit my needs.
I purchased several nice gift bags with the stiff rope/raffia style handles - approx.
8"x10" I placed a Hostess Packet and a small gift inside each bag such as a few
Tealights (I have no clue as to what was in the bag the basket rep had). I took some
Raffia and tied a small bow, nothing fancy, with my business card (hole punched) attached
to the Raffia. I placed these on the floor in front of my display. When planting hostess
seeds I mention about the bags and that they can have one if they help the hostess and
book a show tonight.
It worked great the first time I used this idea, I placed 3 bags (due to it being a
relatively small group) down. They swooped them up, and even fought over the
colors!! And got 3 bookings!! Next time I'll put 4!

Debra, I do something similar. I call them my goody bags. What I do
is buy the bags that are like lunch bags, but they have them in colors. They are
much cheaper. I then decorate them with stickers....like *I love what I do, You can
too* I take it a step further and tell them that in each bag is also a gift certificate
for more free product when you have your show. I put little certificates in each one
from $2 to $20 or free votives or shipping or free taxes... etc. etc. etc., My
certificates say..... "When your show makes or breaks $200 you will receive
*whatever you want*, but I do put the requirements right on it, then I personal bonus the amount on the show. I also put
in the bags different different goodies, I put them according. If there is only a
$2.00 gift certificate, I might put one of the business boosters. If it is a $20.00
gift certificate, I would put maybe some tealights, candy... etc. It really does
encourage bookings. I usually take 5 bags with me and alot of times go home with
none!!!!
