From Charlene
Goodfellow, $ellabration Region, Canada
Acting on my veiled suggestion on the message board this
week...Charlene took the idea and ran with it, creating the prototype "Who
Wants to be a [company] Millionaire" Game for your shows! Now
remember - it's the first draft - but it's so good and I think it will be
such a hit - take it and use/change as you see fit. I'll try to set up a
feedback section on this page as well so you can add questions and ideas
to make it even better - but for now I just want to get it out here so you
can start using it!
Thanks to Janene,
Mindy, Andrea,
Caren, Jackie,
and Sandy for additional
questions added this afternoon.
Depending on the size of the group, divide the guests
into teams. (Teams of 2-3 people are good).
Give each team their "life lines"
- Ask a friend
- 50/50
- Poll the entire group
Each group has a turn answering a question. For every
question right, each person in the group gets a ticket. Or you may prefer
to use fake money, doubling the value when you return back to the same
team. If you choose to use money, you can take some of it away if the team
gets the wrong answer.
Continue until you have a sufficient amount of
questions, doubling the money/tickets as you go along.
You can have a winner a couple of ways:
- The team with the most money wins and each team
member gets a tealight (this is why I suggest small teams - not so
many tealights to give away)
- If you use tickets, do a couple of drawings for
prizes
- Players cash in their money for tickets and do a
drawing
- (Belinda's addition) *Winner(s) get a YCHIA
brochure and a fake Million Dollar Bill (attached - see below) so they
can have every opportunity to offer themselves the chance to become a
Millionaire in [company] by becoming a consultant!
